Tecnolokid is a startup that develops and delivers educational solutions focused on teaching children and adolescents in basic education digital and technological skills in a multimodal way - through cultural workshops, textbooks, literature, and through a digital and online environment, the OLO Platform - using a unique methodology and an innovative pedagogical approach, aligned with Brazil’s National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and guided by international curricula.
“Tecnolokid” is the company that develops and operates the OLO Platform.
“OLO Platform” is Tecnolokid’s online digital learning environment.
“Contracting Party” is the partner company or school that entered into a contract with Tecnolokid. It is responsible for providing the data required to register Users.
“User” means the student, teacher, manager, coordinator, and/or director who will have their own login to access the OLO Platform.
“Legal Guardian” means the parents or guardians of a registered User when the User is a minor.
By accessing and using the OLO Platform, the User (or their Legal Guardian) declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted the conditions set out here.
The OLO Platform is an online educational platform that provides access to content and educational activities, with no direct commercial dealings with Users.
The platform is intended for children, adolescents, and adults, and may be used freely by all audiences.
Registration is carried out exclusively by the Contracting Party, which provides the data needed to Tecnolokid’s technical team. It is the Contracting Party’s responsibility to ensure it has authorization from parents or guardians to provide minors’ data.
Use of the platform must comply with applicable laws, including but not limited to the ECA, the LGPD, and copyright laws. Any attempt at misuse, intrusion, or unauthorized modification of content is prohibited.
All content made available on the OLO Platform is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes or any other purposes not provided for in the contract and/or without the developer’s prior written authorization. This does not apply to third-party content that may be referenced in pedagogical practices. Such content is protected under its respective usage agreements.
Tecnolokid makes every reasonable effort to keep the OLO Platform continuously available and secure. However, the user acknowledges that the platform’s availability and operation may be subject to interruptions or failures arising from factors beyond Tecnolokid’s control, including but not limited to:
In such cases, Tecnolokid will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss resulting from the platform’s temporary unavailability.
Tecnolokid may update these Terms of Use at any time, notifying the Contracting Party(ies) of material changes.
